Physician discusses about life, food, health and travel. The essence of writings is to bring awareness of heart disease globally especially South Asians. After I had life threatening heart attack in 2021, I have decided to delve deeply into the heart disease studies. As I belong to the South Asian ancestry, the epidemic of Heart disease among young South Asians have skyrocketed in recent years, yet the understanding is poor and data from subcontinent is dismal. According to the WHO, 30 % of Global fatalities documented around the world, 60% of the total happen to be from the Asian Subcontinent. Most scientific data has been extrapolated from the western studies, further strong research is essential in the sub continent. My sincere effort to crunch the scientific data and produce a clear understandable message to help better living and disease free.
